The Design Wizard allows you to create a new business card in a matter of
seconds! The first step in creating a new business card is to use the Design Wizard to select the a layout.
You start by selecting the type of card you want to create based on the paper stock you are using. Standard 10-up card stock is the most popular, but there are manufacturers who make 12-up paper stock so you can squeeze two additional cards on each sheet. If you are looking for a card that includes a picture background you should use a photo quality card stock that has space between the cards to allow bleeding. For even more creative business cards you may choose a folded design or even a CD shaped design that you print on a special label to attach to a business card shaped CD. You can also choose from wide variety of specific (non-standard) paper stock (or create your own layout) by choosing the "I want to select or create a layout that matches the stock I have" option. Select from the Many Included Business Card Templates or Choose from the Cloud Gallery. 
After selecting a layout in the Design Wizard you can choose a pre-designed business card
template, from the Cloud Gallery or choose to start with a blank card.
Either way, you can fully customize your business card by adjusting the color scheme, adding or removing the background, shapes, graphics and text after the Design Wizard is finished. One of the great features of the Design Wizard is the ability to specify your
personal information (name, title, address, phone, etc.) and select a logo (if
the template supports
one) even before the business card is created. You can enter your personal
information directly or select a contact from the Personal databases that is built into the
software. You can also specify the font to use and a logo for templates
that support it.
After the Design Wizard is finished and the business card is created, complete with your specific information, you have even more control to add and edit individual text objects, add, edit and remove images and add lines, shapes and a background. Add Your Own Pictures, Graphics, Logos, Clipart.
The Pick Picture screen allows you to easily select and insert any image from a file on your computer
into your design. It also allows you to scan an image and apply effects to it.
Add or Adjust a Layout to Match the Business Card Stock You are Using.
The Layout screen allows you to adjust the layout of your business card.
A layout defines the number of rows and columns, the space between rows and
columns, page margins and other options. Adjustments made on this screen allow
you to correct alignment issues on the printer and use custom or non-standard
business card stock that is not listed in the software.
Select or Define a Background using a Picture, Border, Gradient Fill or a Combination.
The Background screen allows you to select an existing background, customize the selected background or create
your own background. Backgrounds consist of either a picture, a gradient fill, a solid color or a combination
of each. You can even add backgrounds that you design to a custom list so they can easily be used in designs
you create in the future.
Print What You Need, When You Need it.
The Print Options screen is displayed when you choose to print your business cards. It allows you to specify the number
of cards to print, the starting position on the first sheet and the sides to print (front and/or back). You can also
choose to print crop and/or corner marks for assistance in cutting the business cards out yourself instead of using
pre-perforated paper stock.
Store Frequently Used Contact Information to Instant Insertion into a Business Card.
The Personal Databases are a set of databases that allow you to store contact information and text snipets for easy re-use.
For example, you can keep the names, titles, phone numbers, etc. of employees in the Names and Addresses database then easily
select an employee to fill in the business card information when creating a card for that employee. Multiple categories allow
you to organize you data the way you want and user-definable fields let you store extra information that does not correspond
to any of the pre-defined fields.
Save a Business Card Design to Have it Printed Professionally.
Sometimes it is more practical to have your business card printed professionally by a local or online print shop.
The Save As Graphic screen allows you to save a high resolution snapshot of the card as a standard graphic file that
can be sent to the print shop for professional printing. You have control over the resolution and format of the
graphic so it easy to provide the print shop exactly what they need to print your business cards.
